During the settling-in phase, new worker begin to feel like part of the organization. If the settling in is successful, the worker well feel comfortable with the job and his or her role in the work unit. An employees mentoring program, in which an established worker serves as an adviser to the new employees, may help ensure that settling in is a success. The systemm ensures that each new hire is assigned a mentor who acts as a sounding board and advisor on career issues.
