The objective of this study is the evaluation
of the water microbiological status in Durres bay,
compared with the Directive 2006/7/EEC
concerning the quality of bathing water (with a
view to identify the risk factors and to improve its
quality. We have used this Directive in which are
described the limits of microorganisms (in cfu/100
ml) for each class or status of coastal and
transitional waters.
