Prachuap Khiri Khan is a coastal province contained between the Gulf of Thailand to the East and Myanmar to the West. The province’s main tourist destination is the coastal resort town Hua Hin, about 3 hours drive from Bangkok.
The capital of the province also named Prachuap Khiri Khan is a small laid back fishing port some 80 kilometers South of Hua Hin. Just South of Prachuap Khiri Khan town is the narrowest point of Thailand, a little over 10 kilometers wide from the Gulf to neighboring Myanmar.
