I just finished reading Young Philby by Robert Littell. Spy novels are my favorite books to read, and after this book, Littell is definitely one of my favorite spy novelists. I read his book Legends last year, which was OK, but some parts were a little boring, and I found the plot a little confusing. However, I loved Young Philby. The book is about Kim Philby, a British spy during World War II. He was caught passing secret information to the Soviet government. Littell does a fantastic job of describing Philby's character. The story was easy to follow, even with a lot of historical details. Littell's writing style kept me interested the whole way through. In fact, I couldn't put the book down! If you like spy novels, this is a great one.
