The foot of the hill is also the home of the holy shrine of Chao Mae Sam Muk. It is where the locals visit to commemorate the legend of the lovers who ended their lives tragically after vowing their eternal love for each other in 18th century. The shrine is accessible by mountain road. A spectacular panoramic view can be appreciated on the hilltop as well as the view of the Ang Sila Bay, Laem Thaen Bay and Bang Saen Bay. On a clear day, Ko Sichang and the town of Siracha can also be seen. The spot is one of the best places to watch the sunset. The area is also inhabited by a number of wild monkeys and a beautiful cactus garden.
How to get there: The shrine is located at Sam Muk Hill. From Ang Sila, follow Highway 3134 towards Bangsaen, take the right turn at Bangsaen Sai 1st Rd. for 50 meters.
