Carbon dioxide was metered to the reactor at 300 ml/min flow rate during 12 h.
Succinic acid was added to the fermentations ab initio (SA0), at concentrations (g/l) 0, 4.4, 9.8, 17.8, 28, and 34.4.
The fermentations were followed up for up to 90 h and the results reported are the average of two replicas.
