The temple is located in the heart of South Pattaya area. It has a prayer hall housing Chinarat Buddha image and Chai Mongkhon Buddha image from the Sukhothai Period, aged more than 350 years. It also features the Hall of 3-era Buddha, a pagoda built of ores from Ko Lan, a prayer hall housing a large Buddha of 49 inches lap and 160 inches high. The hall is adorned with mural paintings. This temple was once called Wat Thap Phraya. The temple was constructed around 1937. After a monk on pilgrimage arrived and put up a tent in the area, local people then built residences and other religious structures until it became a temple.
