The rhizosphere soils were analyzed to determine the
persistence of oxadiazon and oxyfluorfen residues by
extracting the soils in acetone following the method as
described by Debnath (1997)

the estimation of oxadiazon residues, a glass column
(180 cm · 2 mm i.d.) packed with 3% DC 200 on 100–
120 mesh chromosorb W (HP) was used and for oxy-

packed with 3% OV-IOI on 80–100 mesh chromosorb W
