Two types of headers have been designed, which are
named as type B and C, respectively. Type B differs from
type C in the structures of flow outlet of the first header.
The flow outlet of type B is composed of five holes and
type C is composed of seven holes. In addition, the
length of the first header for type B and type C is 126
and 245 mm, respectively, and the widths are 40 mm for
both cases (Fig. 9).
Fig. 10 shows that the vector velocity distribution on
the central cross-section for the two proposed configurations
(type B and type C) at Re ¼ 1000. The flow
