The seed vigor and germination rate of J. mimosifolia
was low which resulted in lower sexual reproduction
ability and seed propagation coefficient. However, J.
mimosifolia needs more than six months for seeds to
mature and has a long juvenile phase of about 4 to 5
years before flowering. Therefore, many years might
be needed for the beginning of a breeding program to
obtain a plant with desirable characteristics. It limits
the introduction culture and application of this species
on landscape architecture of subtropical countries. It
also seems that this is the reason for the lack of reports,
presently, on garden plant arrangement and
landscaping of J. mimosifolia.
Factors such as temperature, light, moisture and soil
are the basis of seed germination. In the stimulation of
hormones, enzyme activity of seeds enhanced and
promoted seed germination and seed vigor [11]. Auxin
could promote seed germination and cell division, induct
