Letterboxing is like hiking and exploring - with a special challenge. The challenge starts when someone creates a letterbox - a small plastic box with a little notebook in it. The person hides the letterbox in a park, a forest, a city, or some other place. Next, the person writes direction to the box and puts the directions on the Internet. Then letterboxers use the direction to try to find the letterbox.
People who have never gone letterboxing should try it once. It's really fun! It might not be as exciting as skydiving or rock climbing, but it's a great activity. It's an excellent mental and physical challenge. And it's a thrilling feeling to open a letterbox and find out that no one else has discovered it yet!
