small sample, still considering the number of relationships examined in the study and
the associated loss of degrees of freedom, the statistical power of our analyses may be
somewhat restrictive. Several of the relationships were in the predicted direction but
failed to reach the conventional level of significance of 0.05. Sample size may have
contributed to this problem. Thus, a larger sample size could have had better power to
delineate the relationships proposed in this study. We suggest that this study be
replicated with a larger sample size.
