2.7.4. Antibiogram test
With the application of agar medium as per manufacturer’s
instructions, the test was performed. A solution of 10 lg/mL
of gentamycin in the form of standard antibiotic discs was used
in order to provide a positive control while pet. ether, chloroform,
ethyl acetate, ethanol and water were included in every
experiment as negative controls for the sensitivity of the indicator
organism.
