Case study
The methodology as described in the following sections is applied
for three case regions in southern Finland including Turku,
Salo and Kymenlaakso. Southern Finland, which includes both rural
agricultural areas and built-up urban areas, is of interest because
it is the most highly populated area in the country. Also, the use of
methane/natural gas in southern Finland is more common than in
other parts of Finland because of the existence of the natural gas
pipeline which is only in the south
