The Ministry is planning to create a digitized National Assembly by setting up an effective Legislative Information Support Service System to assist judicial activities, and to provide legislative information on the Internet. Furthermore, a Comprehensive Legal Information Service System will be established to make simultaneous searching possible for the production, application, and execution of legal information among the judicial, legislative, and administrative branches. In addition, databases will be set up to provide all information regarding the National Assembly records and bills to the general public. The Ministry is also planning to create databases to integrate and automatically submit documents, such as national inspection data, between administrative branches and the National Assembly by mid-2000, with further expansion of the database system to all ministries and departments. Digital documents will be distributed within the National Assembly by mid-2000, with extension to other government bodies to follow.
