The Pacific white shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) is one of the most important marine aquaculture species in the world ( FAO, 2010, Mathiesen, 2012 and Pauly and Froese, 2012). With the increasing consumption, more and more studies focused on the research of this species ( Gao et al., 2012 and Zhang et al., 2014). Currently, fish meal is the main protein source, but the high price of it remain restrict the development and application of formulated aquafeeds. Therefore, making efforts to utilize G. lemaneiformis on producing commercial feed for L. vannamei at low cost and high efficiency is essential.
