In 1970’s-1980’s, Communicative Language Teaching is debated in academic circles. Noam Chomsky compiles understanding about competence and performance. Mostly, Language Learning in foreign emphasize about recitation, students cannot use structural grammar in real life. So, there is a new approach to use, which is “communication” by study through computer setting. As a result, studying is more effectively. New studying will connect between structural grammar and communication.
There is contention about technological innovation which use in classroom for teachers and students that CLT may be obsolete, but in the same time, S. Sevignon gives the reason that the factor of CLT is approach and operation can use in real life. It equips with needs and works for target population.
