CT whole abdomen: Multiphases of upper abdomen and portoveneous phase of whole
abdomen
History: Appendicitis S/P appendectomy, patho = NET
Findings: The study shows
- S/P appendectomy and TAH with BSO, normal appearrance of the cecum and vagianl
stump is seen.
- A few small well-defined non-enhancing hypodense lesions are seen in hepatic segment 7
and 8, size up to 0.6 cm, likely to be hepatic cysts. Normal attenuation of the remaining liver
parenchyma is seen. The hepatic and portal veins are patent. No bile duct dilatation is
detected.
- The gallbladder, spleen, pancreas, both adrenal glands, kidneys and urinary bladder
appear unremarkable.
- No ascites or intraabdominal lymphadenopathy is detected.
- Bilateral basal lungs are unremarkable.
- The bony strutures are intact.
Impression: Case appendiceal NET
- No evidence of recurrent tumor or metastasis
- A few small cysts in right hepatic lobe
