Well, On christmas eve i get up at

Well,
On christmas eve i get up at about 9, get dressed and have breakfast and stuff. I'm always really excited on xmas eve so i'm usually bouncing up all about the place ahaha. So usually my dad works on christmas eve, he's a single parent you see, my mum died when i was younger so he has to work every minute he can :/ but i am very grateful for having such a great dad :D so when my dad's at work me and my brother, who's now 10 usually make shortbread with this amazing recipie :)

After my dad comes back, which is usually about midday we usually go and pick the ham and turkey up for my grandma and aunty from the butchers, we then drive to my grandmas to drop it off and say hello :) When we get back to our house, i watch christmas film on TV with my brother, like
home alone and scrooge (: when it gets to about six or seven we pack our over night bags and head off to my grandmas again (we sleep there overnight ever since my mum died, as my grandmas husband died many years ago it's nice to be all together on christmas).

My dad usually goes out round town with his girlfriend while me and my brother and grandma stay in watching more christmas specials and movies on telly, while eating biscuits and drinking tea or cocoa in my brothers case :) My dad usually gets back at about nine to ten, and at that time i'm usually getting into my PJ's and brushing my teeth, at about half ten me and my bro go to bed, we can never get to sleep so we just watch tv for a bit..

When my dad comes into ckeck if we're asleep at about twelve, i always have to fake it so that he hurrys uo and gets the presents down! After he's checked on us, my dad and my grandma go into the loft and take all the presents down stairs, TRYING to be quiet haahahhaa!

At about one am everyones in bed, and i'm usually still awake, till about three urgh! My brother usually wakes me up at about four five to sneak down and open one little present before we all wake up :) we take that upstairs and try to get to sleep again, usually don't suceed. We wake my grandma and dad up at about seven and run down the stairs, and start tearing into our presents, while the adults sit quietly drinking their tea and coffee!

After we've opened all our presents, my grandma makes us bacon sarnys for breakfast :) and we all try to find batteries for all my brothers toys lol.. At about eleven my other grandparents come round and check out all our presents, and leave at about twelve. I start getting all glammed up then, and so does every one else. at about one we drive to my aunties for a big christmas dinner with all the family :)

In the evening the kids usually have a nice walk to the park while the adults stay at home having a drink. when we get back we play cherades and boardgames until about one in the morning, and at that time we're all half asleep on the sofa waiting for out taxi's home!

I love christmas so much and cannot wait !
