Take advantage of opportunities to visit the
post-secondary institutions and programs
you are interested in:
• Attend open houses.
• Take a campus tour, if one is available.
• Make an appointment to visit the Disability
Service Office (DSO). (For more information
about what to discuss, see Step 3.)
• Make an appointment to talk with the pro-
gram advisor.
• Ask the program advisor and the DSO about
opportunities to shadow students in the program
and students with disabilities who are attending
the institution.
• Visit the campus with a friend or parent and explore.
