We can only guess that the the playout is done over network in this case and there may be a lack of bandwidth or a bad access time .
If is that is the case, we can offer several suggestions :
- make sure that your storage HDD was formatted with clusters of 64k
- disable indexing
- disable defrag (by default it is activated )
- avoid simultaneous multiple writing in your storage ( maybe you can consider uploading to the storage only by FTP )
- never exceed 75% from the HDD capacity
- use a second network card for feeding the playout
If the problem persist, please send the files listed below in order to investigate :
- the file generated by "Collect System Info" feature of the Playout manager
- samples of media files used for playout (by using www.wetransfer.com)
- the corresponding log file collected after checking the option "Enable debug logs" in
Tools -> Options -> Settings dialog
- the playout list (.xml file) and indicate the hour when the problem occurs
