The primary issue Don had with the Lebron 13 Elite was the fit. Signature basketball shoes are tailor made to suit the athlete’s (in this case Lebron James) needs and to fit their foot perfectly. When Lebron James gets his shoe made for his foot for his needs, then Nike sells it to the populace as is. The result is that the consumer gets a shoe to play basketball in that is made for Lebron James. The good news is that there are a lot of basketball shoes to choose from, so you can find the one thats best for you. Apparently, Lebron must have very wide feet, since the fit was not good at all for Don and his narrow feet. Even when he added an additional insole into the shoe to take up space, his foot was still sliding and not locked in. Since the fit for Don was so bad, it goes without saying that the lockdown were just as bad for him. The shoe is pretty supportive, the wings going up the side and the carbon fibre shank provide good ankle support. Overall, the Sole Brothers rate the fit/support/lockdown in the Lebron 13 Elite 6/10.
