After hearing, "alcohol-infused Haribo bear gummies are delicious!", we gave it a try. We debated which liquor to use, then we finally decided on colorful Blue Curacao. The finished product is wiggly and shiny and very cute! But they have "adult" flavors. The outside is soft but the chewy texture remains in the center. It is a very peculiar food. When I videoed this, we infused Haribo's cola gummies with white run. We bought limes too, and was ready. The gummies completely dissolved after just one night. We wanted to make it like the Cuba Libre cocktail....so sad!
*Recipe*
1. Place Haribo Gold Bears in a plastic container. It is best to line them up without touching. They expand quite a bit.
2. Pour your liquor of choice to cover them completely. We used 200ml of BOLS Blue (Blue Curacao).
3. Let them infuse overnight for 16 hours. You can choose how long you want to infuse them, but by one week, the gummies will be too soft to hold!
