How make students more desirable future workers?

is twenty-five and recently he has graduated from university. He has started to search for some interesting and well-
paid job but even though he has send approximately twenty CV’s no one
replied to any of them. Each year nearly thirty percent of graduates are in such troublesome
situation as Paweł.
How can their situation be changed? How graduates can be made more desirable workers? Growing though the number of unemployed graduates is, there are several solutions addressing their problem. These days due to economic crisis getting job is inconvenient for all students graduating from universities; no matter what kind of profession they have. Seen as inexperienced and having to general knowledge, students are unlikely to be invited for an interview. Employers tend to believe that graduates cannot be given any challenging work that requires theoretical rudiments. This believe arises from the fact that employers are acquainted with situation of student who are taught in enormous groups and usually even if they participate in a class, they remember no information.
What’s more, e
mployers would far rather have a person who has any working experience, than a student who frequently has never worked anywhere. Most of students are willing to take some part-time job, however, in most cases they are unable due to lack of time. Rescheduling timetables at universities is a solution. Given afternoons off three times per week, students would be able to start working. They would benefit from gaining experience by learning and getting basic characteristics of a desirable worker such as: being punctual, polite and patient or having good contact with clients. Moreover, students would learn how to work in a team, which appears to be necessary . Jackob Morgan in his text lists 5 qualities that every modern employee must have and one of them is being cooperative and willing to share. He claims that sharing your ideas and materials with others benefits not only the

Besides, thus earning their own money students would become more independent, which would strengthen their self-confidence. This characteristic may be
incredibly helpful during an interview and might highly determine employer’s decision.
The other idea that addresses the problem is creating smaller groups of student at universities. Being able to participate actively in classes, students would have many more opportunities to memorize new materials. Active

This solution would make employers sure that students, who are to become their workers, have mastered the theory and can be relied on in terms of knowledge. All things considered, there are two possible solutions which address the problem of graduates who are undesirable workers. The first option is to make it more convenient for students to take part-time jobs by rescheduling timetables at universities; the other is reducing number of students per group. Thus both solutions employers would be assured that their workers have mastered the topic at theoretical level and gained working experience during time of studies. Having mastered the theory and being experienced, graduates become desirable and valuable workers. But is that all that employers expect?
