C. Feed back and performance coaching
HRD Department has the responsibility of supervision and provides
feedback to subordinates about their strengths and weaknesses on
a regular basis. They are also accountable for providing the employee
proper guidance to improve their performance skills. For improving
their skills the institutions have to provide performance coaching at
regularly basis.
Performance coaching takes place when a supervisor gets involved
in the activity performed by subordinate and provides feedback for
the purpose of improving performance.
D. Training
Training is the most important subsystem of HRD. The HRD
functions cannot occur successfully unless inclusive information
on various human resources functions including training is available.
Training is a learning process which involves the gaining knowledge,
sharpening of available skills and transformation of attitudes and
behaviors to enhance the performance of employees. It is short term
process which develops a systematic and organized procedure to
enhance the skills and knowledge of employee to perform their jobs.
Every human activity requires up-to-date knowledge and necessary
skills to perform it. Even animals need awareness and ability to exist.
In the same way institutions cannot survive without training of
employees.
