When a crude or initial sisal wax is thus extracted from the dry mixture of sisal wax and pulp by the old method, such crude sisal wax has usually at least 50% by weight of resin impurity, and at least 5% by weight of fat and oil impurity. Such extracted crude sisal wax also has black color impurities, which cannot be separated from the crude sisal wax by known, standard decolorizing methods.
