General quality of life related to peripheral neuropathy (FACT-G) in the foot bath group tended to increase after intervention (65.33 T 12.96) compared with the pretest results (62.75 T 11.29), but in the foot massage group, it significantly decreased after the intervention (53.33 T 11.09) compared with the pretest results (59.63 T 12.47) (P G .001). In this case, there was an interaction between the group and time (P G .001). The physical, emotional, and functional (except social well-being) aspects of the quality of life tended to increase in the foot bathing group, while conversely, these aspects tended to decrease in the foot massage group, and there was an interaction effect between group and time (Table 6).
