Antimony determination in environmental samples can be
problematic due to the very low concentrations often present[2]. As
some methods involves different stages of pre-concentration and
determination. For example in some methods firstly, Sb(III) is preconcentrated
and is directly determined. After which, the sample
is subjected to a reduction process and the total concentration of
antimony is found. Finally, the concentration of Sb(V) is calculated
by subtraction [3,4].
