The objectives of
this study are first to explore the uses of the
Balanced Scorecard in other foreign universitids
then to design the Balanced Scorecard based on the
perception of Thammasat Universityûs stakeholders
and to investigate the perception of management
staff in the University based on the designed
Balanced Scorecard. These initial activities will
undergird the main contribution of this study, that is,
the creation of a Balanced Scorecard and a strategy
map of the University. The scorecard and the map
will thus be based on input from stakeholders, a
practice rarely reported in the literature, and this
should ease the aspects of change involved in its
application.
