In summary, it is possible from the available
literature to explore the effects of the
more tangible hazards of work on the experience
of stress and on health, and to
identify those psychosocial hazards which
pose a threat to employees. Most literature
reviews have identified the need for further
research and development to translate
this information into a form which can
be used in the auditing and analysis of
workplaces and organisations. Such a
model, together with practical implementation
strategies, has been provided by
Cox et al. (2000).
