the results of this study are confirmed that the ozone increased by the use of biodiesel and diesel fuel. The direct mea surement method was applied to evaluate the different trend of e formation: The ozone increment from BFEG is abundant and cant compared to DFEG under all experimental conditions, and the ozone concentration was increased with increasing amount of exhausted gts addition, which is available for considering BDEs as an alternative fuel. Due to different ambient air composition, the trend of ozone increment between Vietnam and Japan are different: 1) ozone increment in Vietnam was higher and faster than Japan. 2)The ozone increment resulting from the use of BFEG in Vietnam was high compared to that from DFEG under all experimental conditions but in Japan the opposite results we observed. The ozone increment by jatropha-BFEG was slighth higher than that by waste cooking oil BFEG. The ozone increment depends on radiation intensity, quality of ambient air l NMHCsl NOx ratio.
