Although GT is very valuable research approach, it is unsuitable for anyone needing to know they can complete a study within a limited time period. So GT is not sensible choice for the teacher- researcher with limited time to draw conclusions and produce a report of their findings (see Chapter 5).However, it may be a very sensible way of exploring an issue of burning interest over many years with a succession of class!
