2.2.1. Chicken meat collection
Chicken meat samples were collected from supermarkets and
butchers. A combination of chicken meat with skin on and skin off, in
bulk and in pre-packaged trays was sampled. All samples were a
minimum of 500 g. Ten to 31 samples were collected in a week; a total
of 356 samples were collected between January 8 and June 30, 2008
