The processes of managing and evaluating change raise several questions. For instance, who should actually carry out the change: inter- nal managers or external consultants? Although internal managers may have the most experience or knowledge about a company’s operations, they may lack perspective because they are too close to the situation and “can’t see the forest for the trees.”
