Reporting Speech for Opening Ceremony

The Respected President of Buriram Rajabhat University, Associate Professor Malinee Jutopama.
Thank you very much for coming to preside over the opening ceremony of “Teaching Cross-Cultural Communication in the EFL Classroom”.
On behalf of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences and organizing committees, I’d like to briefly inform you about this training project.
This seminar is held by English Program, the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Buriram Rajabhat University. The objectives are as follows:
1. To enable participants to develop their English language skills in various contexts, effectively.
2. To make the participants aware of the importance of language and cross-cultural communication.
3. To share participants the knowledge to be applied in teaching and everyday life.
This workshop is well-prepared for 80 participants who are English teachers from both primary and secondary school levels and those who acknowledge the importance of cross-cultural communication. Ajarn Arthitaya Narathakoon, an English lecturer, Language Institute Thammasat University, is as the guest speaker for this seminar.
Now, it is an auspicious occasion to start the workshop. May I call upon Madam Chairman, Associate Professor Malinee Chutopama, The President of Buriram Rajabhat Uniersity to deliver speech and open the seminar entitled “Teaching Cross-Cultural Communication in the EFL Classroom”, please.
