1. Much of the information on the Internet and in computers is not all that useful.
2. Entrepreneurs and managers prefer, actually need, to obtain information directly from people: customers, suppliers, others.
3. Effective use of the system first requires effectiveness in normal communications and information processing including face-to-face correspondence.
4. There is no such thing as an information overload, only an inability to sort things out.
5. In the end, if information is power, then few people will share it anyway.
Entrepreneurs need information to function, and information technology, when used appropriately, can help. But whatever method is used must be on a human scale, be applicable and more importantly be germane to the business at hand.
