The aim of the study is to determine the potential removal efficiencies of AC prepared from sky fruit husk for the anionic herbicide bentazon from aqueous solutions. For these, Firstly, the structural and morphological properties of prepared novel sky fruit husk activated carbon (SFHAC) have been identified. Secondly, couples of different influential sorption parameters were investigated. Finally, different kinetic and isotherm modeling were applied to explain the adsorption mechanisms involved in the system.
