Participant attitudes toward QSE were extremely
positive based on mixed methods data. Star ratings of
each section of the intervention were on average very
high (4.2 out of 5 stars). Open-ended responses were
overwhelmingly positive, with participants indicating
they learned more from this program than in schoolbased
sex education and they appreciated the comprehensive
and LGBT-specific approach. Dislikes were
minimal and most commonly related to not wanting to
learn about the sexual anatomy of the other sex.
