The interaction between allelochemicals and herbicides is an area that might be exploited for weed
management. A herbicide applied along with allelopathic conditions (crops or weeds) could have a
complimentary action in weed management. This
concept may lead to a reduced level of synthetic
herbicide being used for a specific management program. The manipulation of formulation, timing, and
