Moreover, the overall thermal performance of the Control-M and LW-TESCCs were determined by the aforementioned heating-cooling test. Fig. 15 shows the temperature development results of the specimen lower surfaces (TLS) and the air inside the specimen holder box (TIA).
In Fig. 15(a), time delay scenarios that are induced by the heat storage merit of the composite PCM can be clearly seen for the LW-TESCCs as compared to the Control-M.
Taking the temperature of 28.5 C during the heating process as an example, the time elapsed in reaching this temperature were 19.4 min, 31.3 min and 53.2 min, respectively, for the Control-M, LW-TESCC-50 and LW-TESCC-100.
