Allover Lace
A term applied to wide laces with the design or motif distributed and repeated throughout the entire surface of the fabric—not confined to a bordered edge. All-over lace is produced in widths of 36” (91.4 cm) or more and with both lengthwise edges finished the same : usually devoid of scal-lops. The lace is used as fabric for an entire garment or section of garment.
