We checked in on 15 March at about 4pm. Was told by the receptionist that they had received NO such booking from Agoda. After asking us to wait, they finally managed to confirm that we had such bookings... BUT there was no more superior room that we had booked. Instead we were offered a unit called "bungalow" and was given the key with only directions to this unit. The 100 meters walk to the "bungalow" from the reception counter was a challenge - having to ascend 45 degrees up the road and having to drag your own luggage (no help was available). When we reach this unit - it was so hot and stuffy. The place was a run-down... with false ceiling had full of holes and were stuffed with tissue papers dangling. The toilet was not acceptable. We then requested for a change of room and was told to hold on till evening. We then got a ride from the resort to Aonang Beach with the return pick-up at 10pm. After our walk and enjoyment at Aonang Beach area, we walked back to the Krabi Resort to wait for the pickup by the resort transport. We were there at 9.45pm and waited till 10.30pm... no resort transport came (although it was pre-arranged) and finally we had to take a cab back to the resort (ang paying 150 baht). Once back to the hotel, the receptionist only realised that they had forgotten to pick us up and just offered an apology!!!! The change of room was more acceptable but the bathroom condition was not proper - with loose stone/pebble flooring and stinks with urine and plenty of hairs. The next day we had to check out as they were fully booked and had to place us in another hotel - Aonang President Hotel - in Aonang Beach area. At least for this replacement hotel, the rooms were much better -cleaner, beautiful, comfy - than Phu Pranang Resort. For this we are thankful that we do not have to put up another night at Phu Pranang Resort!
