The matrix was discussed fully with and by the FSB team
Several issues emerged which were CIFS corporate rather than work unit specific, as follows;
Security issues emerged in several areas
Health & safety officers roles required clarification
Quality manager(s) roles similarly
Case record contents checklists need was identified
Computer access control re documents and databases policy required
Customer feedback policy needs development & documentation
Awareness of ASCLD/LAB requirements necessary after accredited, to be addressed in CIFS documentation as it develops now
Preventative action procedures fully documented
Testimony & scene monitoring procedures & forms needed
Training manuals need to cover all areas with assessment & authorisation steps
Ethics, law, criminal law training/development required regularly
Guidelines for Technical & Administrative reviews
Asset register policy regarding instrument locations
Review of report formats where opinions are included
