Dear esteemed Seaco Depot,
We are pleased to advice that with the acquisition of Cronos by our parent company Bohai, the Cronos fleet will be integrated into the Seaco fleet and will be operated as one fleet with effect from the 1st October 2015. Prevailing Seaco operating policies and procedures will apply across the board to both fleet. All inspection and repair standards will be the same as the current Seaco standard including CIC for all dry vans.
Due to the process of migrating the Cronos data over to Seaco, the Seaco system will only begin to accept Cronos data from around 10th Oct 2015. Therefore, if you receive any Return Authorization for Cronos units between 1st to 9th October 2015, it will be on a manual RA. When a Cronos unit is gated-in on a manual reference, report the movement via email to your respective Seaco Ops contact on a daily basis. This needs to be monitor manually until you receive further instruction from Seaco. When the system is up and ready to receive your data, we will send you a confirmation and a system generated RA for all the manual RA issued. You should than use the system RA to do your back dating reporting as per normal procedures without delay.
