There have also been projects aimed at specific
audiences to promote E-books for general practices
and for equality and diversity. Tailored information
literacy sessions have been delivered to targeted
groups of staff and departments. Despite this
wide-ranging marketing and outreach effort, our
statistics for the provision of inter-library loans, literature
searches and book loans consistently
showed that allied health professionals (AHPs) and
professions allied to technical services (PATs) were
under represented.
