Chester called Kinsey the next morning and asked her if she could come over because Bucky had found something while he was cleaning the apartment. Kinsey went to the apartment; Bucky had found a hidden safe. Chester called a locksmith, he opened the safe, and it was empty. They also found a skeleton key. Kinsey went back to the apartment the next day no one was home. She started to read a World War two book that she found in a box. Bucky had told her that Johnny came back from serving on 17 August in 1944. But the book said that the Central Air Craft Manufacturing Company recruited the pilots between April and July 1941. Bucky had also told her that Johnny didn’t like to talk about the war. Kinsey thought that Johnny only acquired the books so he could bullshit about the subject. Kinsey went to a cheap hotel were Ray was staying. Ray didn’t want to tell her anything. Kinsey went to Henry’s house after that. His sister Nell was home, she was in the kitchen. Kinsey wanted to ask her if she wanted to go to the movies with her. But then she lost interest. Nell ran out of milk so Kinsey went to buy some for her at the store. She drove past Bucky’s house, she saw a man moving out of their driveway with a hefty duffel bag in his right hand. He was walking with his head down and his shoulders hunched. It wasn’t Bucky, Chester or Ray. The man stepped into a car and drove off. Kinsey followed him. The car parked into the parking lot of a motel. The man went inside. Kinsey waited for a bout 15 minutes. She saw some movement in the apartment when she was about to leave. A woman came out with a suitcase and the duffel bag. They left. Kinsey followed them to the airport. The woman looked like she was about 6 to 7 months pregnant. Kinsey decided to call Bucky to tell him what was going on.
