As the forming behaviours of both materials interact, when forming simultaneous, these differences cannot be
neglected simply. At the Institute of Forming Technology and Machines efforts are made to work this process.
Besides to the process development, the modelling and interaction of these materials in numerical simulations are
seen as important key factors to a successful process. Furthermore, the simulation of the forming process is in
particular important for the design of components as the change of orientation and arrangement of the fibres
significantly change the strength of the component.
