Wedeveloped the SafeTrack Website reusing the SWTrack Website
component. We added a feature to manage loads, allowing to monitor
travel evolutions, load’s deliveries and alarms occurrences.
Furthermore, users with proper permission can register and edit devices, drivers and travels. The website options are shown according
to the class of user operating it. There are three classes of possible
users: the Monitor, theAdminand the Logistics Planner. The Monitor
can add and manage a travel, visualize an active travel situation and
reports. The Admin has complete access to all existing options in the
website. The Logistics Planner has access to manage travels and
routes. This planner can establish the place of startand end of the travel,
and also the intermediate places where the vehicle must pick up
or deliver loads.
The SafeTrack Website allows the Monitors to track at real-time
entities such as vehicles, deliveries and loads. In addition, it
enables them to visualize the covered history by entities. The
Monitors can also access generated alerts due to problems during
the logistics flow. These features speed up decision-making by
users in charge of shipments, thus reducing losses and damages
in the logistics process.
