4.3.1. Traditional survey
Plotting orientation values on a simple Schmidt net revealed
four sets of discontinuities (see Fig. 6). Two major sets (FC_5 and
FC_3) are clearly visible. They correspond to the most frequent
discontinuities in the scanline survey area. Strike and dip values
(Table 3), and the spatial organization of the four sets suggest that
the discontinuity sets represent two pairs of associated faults. This
possibility is discussed in Section 5.1.
