This is the picture I am using for my visual argument. I think the picture is trying to convey a very particular message about what we do to our chickens in farms nowadays. The colors are very simple. The background which is a lot darker than the chickens really emphasizes white feathers of the chickens up front. There are a couple of numbers on the picture which are really the main arguments of the picture. The chicken on the right which was from 1950, assuming you are 68 days into breeding, is very thin. While the chicken on the right which is from 2008, assuming is 47 days into breeding, is a lot larger. I believe the argument is that with all the non-natural ingredients and GMO's being added into our food, there is a problem. The sizes of the chickens and the numbers push that argument. However, it could be stronger because someone who isn't aware of GMO's or non-natural ingredients in our food won't know whats going on. Maybe some text would be good to relieve the pressure of having to carry the argument all on the numbers and size difference of the chickens.
